Senior Mortgage Loan Originator

We are seeking energetic and hungry individuals with an entrepreneurial spirit to join our fast pace Mortgage Company in sales department. As an independent MLO professional, you will work with a dynamic designated team that share your desire to win. Position pays a generous commission structure that works well for those who are disciplined and follow our proven sales process.

The Loan Originator will be responsible to responds to customer inquiries and referrals that are generated from both their own contacts and from other referral channels. The MLO conducts interviews with prospective borrowers in order to analyze financial and credit data, determine customer financing objectives, advise customers of product/pricing policies and guidelines, and gather any additional required information. The MLO ensures exceptional customer service by maintaining thorough knowledge of lending programs, policies, procedures and regulatory requirements, demonstrating a commitment to professional ethics, complying with all Federal and State compliance policies and requirements.

Our Ideal Candidate Has The Following:

  • Interest in building and maintaining MLO network.
  • Originator’s network may consist of Real Estate professionals, Builders, Accountants, Attorneys, Financial Planners, Architects, Title Companies, Appraisers and other professional and personal contacts, as well as other valuable referral sources.

Mortgage Loan Originator Assistant

We are looking for an ambitious Loan Originator Assistant who wants to accelerate their career in the mortgage industry. We value our people, their work-life balance and their success. Responsibilities Include:

  • Generate customer pre-approval letter and required documents as instructed
  • Create new loans entering data from new sales contracts and customer documents
  • 24-hour turnaround time for pre-approvals
  • Collect borrower documents required for approval

  • Assist in gathering borrower conditions

Mortgage Loan Processor

We understand that Kwik Mortgage’s strength lies in its employees. That’s why we here at Kwik Mortgage are looking for ambitious Senior Loan Processor who wants to accelerate their career to be an Underwriter. The position leads to both Conventional and FHA underwriting.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Clear approved loan conditions
  • Review credit report and order all necessary mortgage credit supplements
  • Review file for all employment information and order all VOE’s
  • Review individual and business tax return
  • Run loan through both DU and LP and update Encompass with results
  • Order 4506’s transcripts and upload into the loan file went results are back
  • Run address through USPS and update Encompass to match
  • Run loan through Geo Code and update Encompass with results
  • Review loan file and order all LDP/GSA’s
  • Order Flood Certification
  • Support processing staff as needed with various tasks
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years’ experience processing residential home loans
  • Excellent customer service skills (1 year required), and works well with others
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently, and manage multiple files simultaneously
  • Work within deadlines setting up each loan within 24 hours of receipt
  • Proficient in Microsoft Programs
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, multi-tasking and analytical skills
  • Acute attention to detail

Mortgage Loan Closer

A Mortgage Closer coordinates all phases of the loan closing. The mortgage closer’s responsibility includes preparing loan closing packages, communicating with all parties involved in transactions, and ensuring that all paperwork is complete, accurate and in compliance with legal regulations.

A successful Mortgage Closer should be detail-oriented, have a great sense of organization, and be able to maintain accurate closing schedules.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Prepares closing loan package necessary for individual loan types in accordance with Investor guidelines as well as Secondary Marketing commitments and requirements.
  • Ensures the timely movement and closing of approved loans through the pipeline.
  • Contacts Title Companies, Attorneys, Loan Officers, Processors and Insurance Companies to obtain documentation necessary to close mortgage loans.
  • Monitors loan status on a continual basis to ensure that timely/qualify standards are achieved.
  • Advises all parties of any changes or issues that may occur to ensure high quality standards and customer service.
  • Performs a pre-closing quality review of loan files prior to releasing closing package.
  • Reviews all preliminary documents provided from attorney/title company to include, but not limited to: Title binder, survey, termite report, Hazard/Flood insurance binder, Deed, HUD1 Settlement Statement, Power of Attorney and/or Trust documentation.
  • Completes all disbursement procedures for issuing of funds to attorneys/title company, any necessary refund checks, and release of escrow monies withheld.
  • Responds to and resolves technical and complex problems that arise.
  • Follows up on any deficiency requests by Shipping and Post-Closing to ensure timely procedure for loan funding.
  • Recommends procedural changes to management.
  • Complies with Banks Policies and Procedures, as well as regulatory compliance.
  • Keeps abreast of industry regulations and changes.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma/GED
  • Completion of loan closing certificate program preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in mortgage closing.
  • Working knowledge of mortgage industry regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Encompass
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Good organization and math skills.
  • Strong attention to detail
