Meet Kaustuv

Kaustuv Datta has spent more than a decade in mortgage lending, and he joined Kwik Mortgage Corporation in July 2024. In that time he has built a straightforward reputation: he knows the process cold, and he explains it in terms borrowers can actually act on.

Before Kwik, he spent over ten years as a Senior Loan Officer at Caliber Home Loans and NewRez, where colleagues and clients came to rely on his depth of product knowledge and his responsiveness. Earlier in his career he originated loans at Sun National Bank.

His degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Pittsburgh–Johnstown underpins how he works. Where some officers look only at whether a file will close, Kaustuv reads the numbers behind it — which is often why clients leave a conversation with him understanding not just what they qualify for, but why.
